Campus evidence profile

California State Polytechnic University, Pomona

CSU | Pomona, Los Angeles County

A neutral evidence profile, not a ranking. Every field below reports what the campus's own published pages showed on the verification date, or says plainly that the information was not located or not yet reviewed.

Verified evidence

Veterans page

College Fee Waiver on the audited page
No. The audited veterans page does not mention the CalVet College Fee Waiver. That codes the page, not the office: staff may well advise on the waiver in person.
Campus-hosted fee waiver instructions
Not located during this review. Links out to CalVet's own site are not counted as campus-hosted instructions.

Statewide rules and federal data

These fields come from statewide sources, not the campus site: VA's GI Bill Comparison Tool data and the California Education Code, each verified 2026-08-27.

Yellow Ribbon (VA data)
No Yellow Ribbon agreement for this campus appears in VA's GI Bill Comparison Tool data (version 1496, published 2026-08-27; retrieved 2026-08-27). Context: at public campuses the Post-9/11 GI Bill pays the actual net in-state tuition and mandatory fees for covered individuals, so most California public campuses have no charges a Yellow Ribbon agreement would cover.Source: VA GI Bill Comparison Tool data, Yellow Ribbon program agreements (GIDS data version 1496, published 2026-08-27)
Priority registration
Required by statute. California Education Code section 66025.8 requires the California State University, at every campus that runs a priority enrollment system, to grant priority registration to California-resident members and former members of the US Armed Forces (honorable, general, or other than honorable discharge) and of the State Guard, for four academic years of use within 15 years of leaving state or federal active duty. Dishonorable and bad-conduct discharges are excluded, the campus must verify military or veteran status first, and students must meet the orientation and education-plan requirements of section 78212. How this campus implements priority registration (registration dates, verification steps) is not yet reviewed under the audit protocol.Source: California Education Code section 66025.8 (amended by AB 1715, Stats. 2022, Ch. 379, effective January 1, 2023)
Published certification timing
No published certification timing statement located on the audited veterans page (automated text scan, 2026-08-27). Automated text scan of each audited veterans page's HTML on 2026-08-27, followed the same day by a browser-rendered pass on the pages that blocked the automated scan. A page that renders its content in the browser may publish a timing statement the HTML scan cannot see; those pages were re-checked in the browser pass, and pages that block both methods are marked accordingly rather than coded as a finding.

Not yet reviewed

The following fields are part of the Observatory's campus evidence plan but have not yet been reviewed under the published audit protocol. They are listed so silence is never mistaken for a finding.

  • Credit for military learning (CPL) implementation: Not yet reviewed under the published audit protocol.
  • Campus-based fees remaining after the College Fee Waiver: Not yet reviewed under the published audit protocol.
  • Campus implementation of priority registration (dates, verification steps): Not yet reviewed under the published audit protocol.

This profile is a row in the published College Fee Waiver Implementation Audit. Compare campuses in the campus directory, see the Los Angeles County pathway profile, or review who owns each step on the responsibility map.
